About Course

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS, ANNOUNCEMENTS & GUIDANCE

This free mock test is provided by Lawfren’s NLSAT Self Prep initiative to help you get familiar with the type of questions that will appear in our mock papers for NLSAT. It follows the same pattern as the actual NLSAT exam and is completely free for all aspirants.

At NLSAT Self Prep, our main focus is comparative evaluation—because in NLSAT, knowing your relative standing is more important than just attempting unlimited mocks. Based on your Part A scores, we will prepare a rank list so you can clearly understand where you stand in the competition.

How to Attempt the Free Mock

The mock is available in two formats:

  1. PDF + Quiz Mode – Download the PDF (for passages) and view it while attempting the quiz online.

  2. Recommended Method – Download and print the PDF, solve it with a timer (1 hour 10 minutes for 75 Part A questions), then enter your answers into the online quiz for ranking.

Important Notes:

  • Questions are set consecutively (75 back-to-back). There’s no strict division between passage questions—mark carefully.

  • To get your rank published, you must submit answers in the online quiz.

  • The rank list will be published on our Telegram group: @nlsatselfprep

  • Part B in the free mock is for self-evaluation only. Model answers will be provided if needed—DM on Telegram for queries.

  • In our paid courses, Part B is also evaluated with separate rank lists for both Part A & B. For the free mock, this is not possible due to manual evaluation requirements.

Quiz Rules

  • Only 1 attempt is allowed—start only when you can complete the quiz in one go.

  • Marks shown immediately after submission do not include negative marking, but negative marks will be applied in the final rank list.

  • Questions cannot be skipped—in the real NLSAT, skipping a question leads to a negative mark.

  • Part A answers and the rank list will be announced in the Telegram group.

TRUTH ABOUT NLSAT

  • Speed matters more than intelligence – This is a high-speed reasoning test.

  • Too many mocks can harm preparation – Excessive practice with one institute’s style may limit adaptability in the real exam.

  • Current Affairs ≠ Monthly PDFs – NLSAT focuses more on contemporary issues from the past 4–5 years, not just current month events. We will upload relevant CA for free.

  • Know the seat matrix

    • Non-Karnataka, General Category, Male = 24 seats (open for all categories to compete)

    • Non-Karnataka, General Category, Female = 36 seats (24 open + 12 open for female of all categories)
(Detailed seat matrix will be published soon)

  • Luck plays a role – Even with 100 mocks, bad exam days can happen. Focus on presence of mind.

  • Part B is subjective – No ideal answers exist. Many so-called model answers are AI-generated. The real focus should be comparative evaluation.

  • Don’t neglect Part A – If you don’t clear the 1:5 ratio and percentile cut-off, Part B won’t even be evaluated.
